The Riley Guide

In my estimation, the Riley Guide is possibly the best employment guide I've ever seen. The site has been helping jobseekers prepare their job search strategies for over 10 years. It covers everything from evaluating your skills to finding and applying to a company. Margaret F. Dikel, the Guide compiler, has literally written the book (several actually) on the topic. The web site isn't pretty to look at but it's a gold mine of information for the jobseeker. Following the instructions and suggestions presented here is sure to improve your odds at finding the job that's just right for you.

Digital Photography Special Interest Group

The Digital Photography Special Interest Group (SIG) of Grand Junction, Colorado meets once a month and discusses various aspects of digital photography. Notes from their meetings are presented at their web site and are well detailed. Some topics are beginner oriented while other sessions are more advanced. For those of you working in the digital photography field it is probably worth a look. Thanks to my friend Harry, from the Chicago Computer Society, who told me about this site.
