FinAid bills itself as the SmartStudent Guide to Financial Aid. It covers all sorts of financial aid methods: Scholarship searches, Loans, Section 529 college savings plans, and various aspects of military aid. There's also advise on navigating the paperwork trail necessary to procure the funding you need, an aid advisor for personal help, dozens of tools for calculating college costs, loan payments, savings and more.

Another site for financial aid is Reference Service Press. The site is a bit commercial in that it does have topical books for sale. But it also provides a great deal of information in the financial aid arena.
