Enchanted Highway

Traveling near Regent, North Dakota, take I-94 to Exit 72. About 20 miles east of Dickinson you'll discover the Enchanted Highway. In the 32 miles to the south of Regent you will find 6 sculptures at various points along the way. They are the work of teacher and school principal, Gary Greff. The artist welds these huge sculptures (some are over 100 feet tall) and places them along the Highway. They range from the cartoonish Tin Family to more traditional themes such as Geese in Flight. My favorites are: Geese in Flight, Grasshopper (60 ft. tall) Delight, and Theodore Roosevelt Rides Again. If you can't get there in person, visit the web site.
